Gavriilidou Christina

Gavriilidou Christina is a NDT Bobath Speech therapist, and has graduated from the Technological Educational Institute of Ioannina and head of the Speech therapy center Εf Olikon in Thessaloniki.

She has worked as head of the Rehabilitation and Restoration Center, Anagennisi (the Rebirth), at the Special School in Kilkis, and has collaborated in various private speech therapy centers in Thessaloniki and Ptolemaida.

She was a member of the team of doctor Mr. Dagdilelis at the Papanikolaou Hospital in Thessaloniki, where video radioscopy of the swallowing of adults and children is performed. She was also an external associate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in a research project on the computation of diagnostic tools for Aphasia. Also, as an external associate again she participated in a research program of statistical data of speech, speaking and swallowing disorders in patients with neurological disorders.

From 2004 to the present date, she has attended all three parts of the Training Seminars for the Implementation of PECS and has now the title of Trainer at PECS. She has participated as a trainer in the summer intensive PECS training program that took place in Zakynthos (2008). She also obtained the «PECS Implementer» degree in August 2008.

In 2012 she completed the postgraduate education in pre-speech therapy NDT- Bobath, as well as the Pre-speech Treatment NDT- Bobath.

As a student, she participated in programs of the University of Ioannina concerning dyslexia, learning difficulties, the implementation of the Athena test and the computation of the test of Early detection of dyslexia and participated in the writing of a group book of the editions of the Technological Education Institute of Epirus on the subject of re-education of children with dyslexia.

Finally, she has also specialized in treatment methods through certified seminars, such as:
